The stories are inspired by puns and proverbs, and then animated in a pop, retro style. The aim is to create strange tales that are a mix of humor and sadness, woven together by strange characters that include animals, monsters, and inanimate objects.
The original short film "Sakana Island's Stomach: The Third Intestine," which he directed, wrote and animated, has won numerous awards and been selected at film festivals both in Japan and abroad.
He is also active in a variety of other areas, including working on the animation parts of the music videos for Sakurazaka46's "Cool" and YENA's "SMILEY-Japanese Ver.- (feat. Chanmina)," as well as the intermission animation for Danshi Buranko's comedy show "Tendonki," and the animation for the "J SPORTS" 2023 Filler Movie.
